Neil Tudor
Lookalike & Tribute to Macca
Neil’s “set”
is 90 minutes long, and features both songs from The Beatles, and
Wings. It is totally “self-contained” (own P.A. and Lights provided).
During the set, Neil
sings “live” (absolutely no lip-synch!) and switches between
playing “live” bass guitar, electric Guitar, and acoustic
guitar.
Neil produces the
backing tracks in his own studio, so you can be sure of a polished
and authentic edge to the sound !!
Neil successfully
manages to recreate the more recent McCartney image … the man who
successfully toured both the USA and behind the Iron Curtain, to
plaudits from both the public who paid to see him, and the (
usually) more critical music press !!
Neil’s “solo”
McCartney is an excellent alternative to the sometimes expensive
“Beatle band” and can be accommodated where space or excessive
volume is an issue!
Ideal for parties
and corporate events, Neil is always professional in his approach,
and can be relied on to deliver a great evening of entertainment!
There is no better
time to book Neil as Paul McCartney. As the headlining, and closing
act of the recent “Live 8” concert in the UK there is simply no
bigger act than “Sir Paul” on the planet today!!

Biography of Neil
Neil was born in the early 60's ,and was first
exposed to music, through being forced to listen to his older
Brother's LP records, some of which later became Beatle's albums
The
Beatles comparatively short , but productive life span ran between
Neil’s 2nd and 9th birthday, and as a consequence, was mostly lost
on him at the time. Instead, he chose to bide his time, waiting
until the early 70’s to become a teeny glam – rock fan, eagerly
buying up singles by Mud, T-Rex, The Sweet and Slade..well, there is
no accounting for his early tastes!!
Despite demanding a set of drums for his 13th birthday (he
desperately wanted to emulate the thumping drum sound from the twin
“skin-beaters” in The Glitterband, his parents bought him an
electric guitar!
He spent oooh, at least several minutes learning a couple of chords,
before joining his first local band!!
Neil’s personal musical taste has always leaned toward the “rockier”
side of things. Thin Lizzy and AC/DC were amongst the first live
bands he saw, at The Liverpool Empire, back in the mid to late 70’s.
The early eighties saw him form his first “real” band,
“Strangeheart”. The American influence dominated the playing hours
of the band, who were heavily affected by bands like Journey and
Foreigner.
Well, the music scene changed in the mid eighties, and Neil drifted
away from music making completely, for about 10 years.
1996 brought him back from early retirement, to the cabaret and
pub circuit., and from then to 2004,he has performed as the
instrumental half of various duos in venues right around the
country, with both male and female vocalists. It was in these later
years that many audience Directory commented on his resemblance to
Sir Paul!!
“Macca” Tribute to Sir Paul, sees Neil singing a wide range of
McCartney led Beatles and Wings songs, as well as playing “live”,
the famous violin bass, and electric and acoustic guitars
